- 1 cup Black Eyed Beans / Lobia
- 1/4 cup coconut Grated
- 2 Chillies Red
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- pinch Turmeric a
- 1/4 tsp Chilli Powder
- 1/4 tsp Coriander Powder
- Curry leaves few
- 1/4 tbsp Chopped Ginger pieces
- pinch Hing
- 1/4 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Urad Dal

Instructions
- Pressure cook lobia with a pinch of salt for upto 5 whistles
- Drain water completely
- Heat oil in a nonstick pan
- Add mustard seeds, urad dal seeds and curry leaves
- Let them splutter. Add red chillies, chopped ginger pieces, turmeric,hing,chilli powder and coriander powder
- Saute for about 3-4 minutes in a low flame. Later add pressure cooked lobia
- Add 1/2 tsp salt
- Close the pan and let them get cooked for about 10 minutes
- Atlast add grated coconut and mix eveything well
- Once the spices, coconut are mixed with lobia turn off the flame
- You can add coriander leaves/mint leaves for garnishing. This step is totally can optional
- Karamani Sundal is ready to be served
