If you are planning to learn Italian cuisine, just start off with this dish. Very few ingredients,less pain in preparation, a filling dish. A perfect breakfast to start a lazy weekend.The following measurement serves two.
Instructions
- Instructions for Cooking Pasta :
- I used Del Monte Spaghetti Pasta. Boil water in a thick bottomed vessel 4 cups
- Add few olive oil/vegetable oil,salt in the water. This ensures that they don'stick together once its cooked drops of 1/2 tbsp t
- Carefully add Spaghetti sticks to the boiling water. It took around 12 minutes for the pasta to cook completely
- Remove from stove and drain water completely from the pasta. Wash cooked pasta with cold water
- Sauce :
- Boil 2 cups of water in a vessel. Add tomatoes and let it be cooked for about minutes 4 5
- Peel off the skin and grind to a smooth puree
- Now heat olive oil in a frying pan and add finely chopped garlic onion,capsicum pods,
- Add salt,pepper powder and tomato puree
- Saute it for around 4-5 minutes. Add the cooked pasta to the puree and ensure that Spaghetti is wrapped by this sauce thoroughly
- Taste it and mix salt/pepper accordingly
- Sprinkle the seasoning (oregano,basil) on top it. Saute the whole mixture for about 5 minutes
- Add grated cheese and serve the Spaghetti
