Momos are very simple to make and tried this recenlty in a Chinese food joint. We both loved it totally . The best part is you can playaround with the filling inside momo.I just prepared a filling with leftover veggies however you can use mushrooms,paneer,tofu based filling too. I also made a tomato-garlic chutney as an accompaniment to these soft,juicy momos.

Ingredients
For Filling :
- 1 Onion
- 1/4 cup cabbage Chopped
- 1 Carrot
- 1 Capsicum
- 2 Beans
- Spring Onions
- 4 Pods Garlic
- 1/4 tbsp Chopped Ginger
- 1/4 tbsp Salt
- 1/2 tbsp White pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp Soya sauce
- 1/4 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tbsp Oil

Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients mentioned under 'For Dough' section
- Add water and knead until you get a smooth dough
- Keep it aside for 30 minutes
- Chop all the vegetables very finely
- Heat oil in a kadai and add the veggies,chopped ginger garlic
- Add salt and saute until they become translucent
- Add sugar,soy sauce and continue sauteing for about a minute or two Turn off the stove.Now divide the dough into small lemon sized balls.
- Dust the rolling surface with flour and using rolling pin, roll the dough.
- Keep the filling inside.Now close the dough by holding folding gently.
- If you have a steamer you can steam for about 5-7 minutes.
- Since I didnt have a steamer I greased Idli plate and steamed momos.
- Hot juicy momos are ready to be served.
- Tomato Garlic Chutney :
- Grind tomatoes with 2 red chillies.
- Heat oil in a kadai add 1 tbsp of chopped garlic pieces.
- Now add the ground tomato mixture, 1/2 tbsp of salt.
- Saute until the raw smell goes off.
- Serve momos with this yummy tomato chutney.
