I always buy Roasted Rava hence I didnt roast rava separately before making porridge. However if you are using normal unroasted sooji/rava kindly dry roast in a pan for few minutes. Then prepare porridge with it. I personally like that aroma from roasted rava & moreover it gets cooked easily too.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp semolina
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk optional
- 3 Raisins
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder

Instructions
- Boil water in a sauce pan or in a vessel
- Once the water starts rolling, add Semolina and keep stirring
- Make sure the flame is low. This prevents from semolina getting stuck to the bottom of pan
- Add milk, cardamom powder and stir for another couple of minutes
- Turn off the flame. Add chopped raisins
- Porridge is ready to be fed

- If you want to avoid cow’s milk you can just skip the step and make it a savory porridge by adding yogurt along with sauteed tomato or boiled carrots to it
- The taste will almost be like mashed upma 😬😬
