First thing comes to mind regarding Diwali celebration is eating sweets 🙂 .In our house, celeb preparation kicked off yesterday .With my mom’s assistance prepared Rava laddus at home and it came out very well.The ingredients used are mostly readily available.I have not added milk,shredded coconut and hence these laddus shelf life will be more. The following measurement yields 20 small ladoos.

Ingredients
- 250 gms Rava Semolina /
- 250 gms Sugar
- 2 cups Ghee
- 1 tbsp Cardamom (u0b8fu0bb2u0b95u0bcdu0b95u0bbeu0bafu0bcd) powder
- 10 15 Cashewnuts

Instructions
- Heat ghee in a frying pan 1/2 tbsp.Fry cashew nuts until golden brown and keep it aside
- Add 250gms. of rava to it and roast rava in a low flame until we get a nice aroma
- Keep it aside.Once they are cooled down grind them to a fine powder or coarse powder depends on your choice.Also grind the sugar finely in a blender 250 gms
- Make sure the ghee is hot and it is not in a semi solid state
- Take a thick bottomed vessel and first spread the poweder rava and then add powdered sugar,cardomom powder,cashewnut pieces to it
- While mixing it add ghee little by little and make balls when the mixture is slightly hot.(Kinda difficult if you are doing it for the first time however with a little patience will be able to make these laddus easily)
- Once the laddus are cooled down store them in an air tight container
