Navarathri starts tomorrow. It is always good to give different prasadhams/nevedhyams rather than the usual Sundal (ofcourse sundal is the best. But for a change). I have used around 250 gms of semolina. In case if you wish to serve more people adjust measurements accordingly.

Instructions
- Prepare Jaggery Syrup (http://resh kitchen.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/jaggery syrup.html) by dissolving jaggery in boiling water. Add cardamom powder to the syrup
- Heat 1/2 tbsp ghee in a pan add cashews & raisins. Keep the roasted nuts separately
- In the same pan dry roast rava for few minutes
- Add jaggery syrup to the roasted semolina and keep on stirring the mix 2 cups
- Add nuts & raisins to the pan
- Turn off the stove and let the dough cooldown
- Add the remaining ghee to the dough and make small balls
- Steam in a steamer or in idly plate for 5 minutes
- Easy and quick Rava Kozhukattai is ready to be served.
