- 200 gms Peas (Dried or frozen)
- 2 Onion
- 4 Tomato
- 1 Green Chilli
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tbsp Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/4 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tbsp Salt
- 2 tbsps Cashew Paste
- Curry leaves few
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
- 1/2 tsp Mustard jeera seeds , each
- 1 tsp Oil

- Soak Green Peas (if using dried) for about 5-6 hours.
- Pressure cook peas along with pinch of salt and a turmeric for up to 5 whistles
- Make sure the peas is completely cooked but don'let them get mashed up
- In a kadai heat oil and add mustard, jeera, curry leaves, green chilli
- Let them splutter
- Add chopped onions, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and all dry powders one by one
- Keep sauteing them for at least 10 minutes in low flame.
- The onions will become translucent & tomatoes will be half cooked. Add a cup of water, let it boil.
- In the meantime make cashew paste by grinding 10 cashews with some milk. This paste helps in thickening the gravy. In case if you don't have cashews in hand, you can just grind some coconut and add that paste too
- Now add the cooked peas, and let the whole mixture boil for up to 10 minutes. If you are using frozen peas, you need to add them now.
