However it is believed that preparing ‘Panagam’ during Navarathri and distributing it to married women,children is considered auspicious too. Instructions
- Powder jaggery and mix it with water
- Filter the jaggery to ensure that the impurities are removed
- Add in grated ginger,dry ginger powder and fresh lemon juice
- Mix everything well and at last add fresh cardamoms and serve
