This is Aadhu’s most favorite & she finishes off the bowl in no time. When it comes to babies, each baby is different. Prepare this powder in a small quantity, feed it and see how they like it. Then increase the measurement and prepare a larger batch of the powder

- Ingredients for Oats Porridge Powder
- 200 gms Rolled Oats I used Quaker brand
- 10 Cashewnuts
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
For Porridge
- 2 tbsp Oats Porridge Powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup milk optional

Instructions
- Heat a frying pan and roast oats until the raw smell goes off and they turn into slight golden color. Remove from pan and leave Oats to cool
- Add cashews and fry them for a minute or two
- Do not add oil or ghee while roasting Oats & Cashews
- In a mixie first grind cashews to a coarse powder and on top of it add Oats
- Finally grind them together
For Porridge
- Firstly mix powder with water in a vessel
- Then place the vessel on medium heat and keep stirring it so that lumps are not formed
- Within a minute or two you can see the porridge thickening
- If you are adding milk add it now and then continue stirring
- Turn off the flame after 2-3 minutes. Leave it to cool down and the porrdige is ready to be fed
