Mushrooms don’t take much time to get cooked. I always have a pack of spinach, mushroom and a canned chickpeas in stock along with other essentials like Onion,Tomato. If you are running out of time we can always quickly whip up something with these ingredients. Mushrooms are so versatile. You can add sauteed Mushrooms to Bread Toast, quickly do this pepper fry and serve it with Roti,Dosai or Rice, can make a quick sauce with Mushrooms for Pasta and the list goes on 😊 . Have also tried making Instant Pesarettu with readymade GreenMoongdal flour. The instant cheela tastes good too
I made this Mushroom Pepper fry for dinner last. As a part of my blogging challenge documenting the recipes here everyday. Dinner timing was 9pm 🙁 Hoping at least today I will be able to eat little early. Made Red Chutney , Pesarettu/Green Moongdal Dosai for S & A. I ate it like a Pesarettu Wrap 😋😋 The goal of this challenge was to include more veggies during dinner time. One Pesarettu along with other veggies was so filling. Here is the dinner wrap

1. You can also add tomatoes capsicum to this recipe. I keep it simple
2. If you don't like Pepper Powder you can replace it with Chilli Powder & Coriander Powder
3. Instead of Kasuri Methi leaves you can also add fresh curry leaves. They add a lovely flavor to this dish
4. If you want to serve this as a poriyal add 1/4 cup of fresh coconut or desiccated coconut
