Ingredients
- 1 cup Basmati Rice
- 1 bunch Fenugreek leaves
- 1 Onion
- 1/2 tsp GingerGarlic paste
- 1 Green Chilli
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Chilli Coriander , Powder , Powder each
- 1/4 cup peas Frozen
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp Saunf
- 1 Bayleaf Cinnamon , Stick
- 2 Cloves
- 1/2 tsp Ghee
- 1/2 tsp Oil

Instructions
- Heat 1/2 tbsp ghee in a wide bottomed vessel
- Add bayleaf,cinnamon stick and Saute for a minute. Add in the basmati rice cloves.
- Cook rice along with a salt & turmeric. For Basmati rice you will need water pinch of one cup of 2 cups
- Let the rice get completely cooled down. Fluff the rice with fork
- While the rice is cooking we will prepare the spicy methi leaves mix
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds,saunf. Let them splutter
- Now add onions, slit green chilli and saute until they become translucent 1
- Then add finely chopped methi leaves, chilli powder and coriander powder
- The leaves will get cooked within minutes. At this stage you add frozen peas to the pan 10 cans
- Now add this methi mixture to the cooked basmati rice
- Mix everything well using a fork. Care should be taken not to mash the rice
- Yummy methi rice is ready to be served with plain yogurt or onion raita
