Have tried this Instant Pot Noodles 4-5 times and since I make it for dinner I don’t have clear pictures. The recipe turns out delicious everytime I make and irrespective of not having so many great step by step pictures, am sharing the recipe here today. If you are a fellow Instant Pot newbie like me then do give it a try and am sure you won’t regret it.
I have added vegetables that were available at home yesterday. You could choose you own favorite veggies and also adjust quantities based on your preference. I absolutely love ‘Blue Dragon’ brand’s Noodles and their sauces. This one is WholeWheat eggless noodles from their range of products. However if you are using a different variety of noodles make sure to adjust timings based on it. We generally prefer well cooked noodles and hence I set my timer to ‘5’ minutes.
If you are trying Instant Pot noodles for first time by following my measurements+timings let me know if you liked the output.

- Mix all the ingredients mentioned under Sauce section and keep it aside
- Chop the veggies
- Turn on 'Saute' Mode in Instant Pot. Add 2 teaspoon of Sesame Oil
- Add the veggies and saute for 2-3 minutes
- If you see the bottom of the pan is getting browned, sprinkle little water and deglaze the pan. Deglazing ensures that the caramalized bits and pieces wont affect the cooking process in Instant Pot. Hence it is important to keep an eye in 'Saute' mode and use a woonden spatula or silicon spatula to continuously clean the bottom of the pot
- Now add salt, black pepper powder and chilli powder and continue sauteing
- Add the dry whole wheat noodles and the sauce mixture to the pot
- Mix everything together. Using a spatula slightly break the noodles and keep sauteing
- Add 1 cup of water and mix everything together
- Sprinkle some more water (approx 1/4 cup).Add frozen peas and change the Instant Pot setting to 'Pressure Cook' and also turn off 'Keep Warm' button (by default it will be turned 'On' in Pressure cook mode..You need to press the button again to turn it off)
- Set the timer to '5'. Ensure the pressure release valve is in 'Sealing' position
- Let the pressure gets build up and let the noodles get cooked for 5 minutes
- Wait for 4-5 minutes and manually release the pressure
- The noodles would look something like the pic shown here😋😋
