- 1 cup Channa Dal
- 4 Chillies Dried Red
- 2 tbsps coconut Shredded
- Curry leaves few
- 1/2 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tbsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tbsp Urad Dal seeds
- 1/4 tbsp Hing
- 1/4 tbsp Turmeric powder

- Soak Channa dal for minutes 30
- Pressure cook dal up to whistles along with salt two
- Drain excess water
- Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds, urad dal seeds, dried red chillies
- Let them splutter. Add curry leaves, hing
- Now mix the cooked channa dal and sprinkle the shredded coconut
- If you want you garnish it with some coriander leaves as well can
- Sundal is ready to be served
