Carrot is a nutrition rich vegetable.This thick chutney/thogayal is a good replacement for the usual coconut chutney or tomato chutney. It goes well with Idly,Dosai,Upma too. I served carrot thogayal as a sidedish to Wheat Dosa.
Instructions
- Heat oil in a small frying pan and add urad dal,red chillies
- Once dal turns brown add salt,asefatodia,grated carrot and chopped tomatoes
- Saute for about 5 minutes.Once the carrots are cooked blend them in a blender
- Carrot Thogayal is ready to be served with dosa
