As the name suggests its adding carrots to the normal Pooria 🙂 Instead of the regular pooris I thought I will so something different. Our weekend breakfasts are incomplete without Poori. Waking up late and having Hot Pooris along with a simple Potato Masala is pure bliss. Also adding veggies make it even more colorful and tasted delicious too. Kids will love it too.

Instructions
- Grate 1 carrot and grind it to a puree
- Grate another carrot. Heat oil in a pan 1/2 tsp.
- Saute this grated carrot with salt and chilli powder until it is 3/4th cooked
- Take wheat flour in a large bowl and add carrot puree, sauteed carrots. Puree gives a lovely orangish color and the grated carrots add crunch to pooris
- Make a smooth dough by adding water little by little
- Divide the dough into small lemon sized balls and roll them using rolling pin
- In the meantime heat oil in a frying pan
- Once the oil is hot enough deep fry the pooris
- I served the Pooris with Potato Masala. You can prepare chutney or tomato thokku too 😊
