My first post for this year. A bowl of hot soup is the best comfort food in this winter weather. Today I made this utterly delicious and simple broccoli soup and had it with toasted baguettes. A simple yet winning combo.

Ingredients
- 15 Broccoli Florets
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 green chilli
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic pieces
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 cup milk

Instructions
- Wash and clean broccoli florets
- Heat butter in a frying pan
- Saute garlic,ginger,chilli and broccoli florets in the pan for sometime
- Add 1/2 water and let them boil for about 5 minutes. Florets will be 3/4 th cooked
- Grind them to a fine paste with coriander leaves
- Add salt,pepper powder and milk to this paste
- Boil for sometime. Once the desired consistency is achieved you can remove it from heat
- Such a healthy soup and can be given to kids as an evening snack
