Have been planning to make Kadhi in Instant Pot for a while now..Whenever I ask Mr.S ‘Shall I make Kadhi today?’ his reaction will be ‘adhuku nee morkuzhambe panniden’ 🤷😝 He always prefers regular SouthIndian food but then me being ME will anyways put together different combos for lunch instead of the usual Sambar/Rasam/Kalandha Sadham atleast once a week. Yesterday I made these delicious Kadhi Pakoras and to my surprise he licked off the plate clean..The little one loved the baked pakoras so much and she ate it with Parupu & Rasam 😋😋
You can fry the pakoras too instead of baking. I used onions, grated cabbage, carrots, capsicum for making the pakoras. You can add spinach or even make the simple plain Pakoras with Gram flour. If you don’t have an Instant Pot, you can prepare the Kadhi on stove top too.. Follow the same given recipe just make sure you keep an eye when the Kadhi is boiling. Keep the flame very low so that the yogurt curry doesn’t split.
I truly wish I had Curry Leaves. It definitely would have enhanced the flavor of Kadhi..I haven’t mentioned under ingredients list. However please do generous dose of Curry Leaves while preparing Tadka.
