Next time for a potluck gathering if you aren’t sure what to do then give this manchurian a go. An excellent appetizer that looks and tastes great, easy to prepare with the available minimal ingredients. The following measurements serves two.

- 6 nos Babycorn Fresh
- 4 tbsps maida (All purpose flour)
- 2 tbsps rice flour
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1/2 tbsp Chillipowder
- 2 tbsps salt
- 1 cup onion Chopped
- 2 tbsps tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp Chilli Sauce
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic Paste
- 1 cup water

- Clean and chop the baby corn into cubes or to any of your desired shape
- Add maida,rice flour,corn flour in a bowl. Mix them thoroughly
- Add salt, chillipowder to the above mixture 1/2 tbsp of 1/2 tsp
- Slowly add water and prepare the batter. The consistency of the batter should be thick
- Dip the babycorns in this batter and leave it aside for 5 minutes
- Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the babycorn pieces
- Using a tissue paper drain excess oil from the corns
- Simultaneously heat a saucepan with 1tbsp oil
- Add chopped onions,salt to the pan. Saute it for about 5 minutes.Add 1/2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste and again saute it for 2 minutes
- Add the fried babycorns to this mixture and later add the sauces one by one
- Toss the whole mixture in the saucepan for about 5 minutes
- Serve it hot with Fried Rice or prepare it for a evening snack
