- Now in a bowl add rice flour, salt and sauteed ingredients
- Mix them well by adding luke warm water.Let the dough be at rest for 10 minutes
- Take a medium sized ball of this dough and apply oil in a plastic sheet. You can roll the dough using rolling pin or spread it with your hands.
- If there are difficulties while shaping the dough keep a bowl of water beside you, just dip the fingers in water and then spread the dough.
- Since I was preparing for the first time I wasn't comfortable spreading the dough directly in the Tawa (authentic way to spread the dough)
- Heat Dosa Tawa and place the rolled rotis on it.
- Pour oil, cover the pan with a lid and wait for 2 minutes.
- Turn to other side & wait until both the sides are cooked
- Remove from pan & serve them hot
- Now akki roti is ready to be served with chutney or sambar
