White Sauce Pasta
A simple white sauce Pasta that can be prepared with basic pantry ingredients. This creamy delicious Pasta recipe can be customized based on your preference.

Ingredients

  1. In a large pot boil water
  2. Add a tiny pinch of salt and olive oil. Let it come to rolling boil
  3. Add Pasta and let it cooked in medium heat for around 12 minutes. Once they are cooked. Drain water and wash them in cold water. Keep it aside
  4. Heat a tsp of butter in a frying pan. Add chopped garlic and mushrooms
  5. Let the mushrooms get cooked for 2-3 minutes. It will start to release water, shrink in size and you can see the sides turning brown
  6. At this stage add a pinch of salt and black pepper powder
  7. Give it a mix and keep the mushrooms aside
  8. You can just wash the pan and reuse it to make the white sauc
  9. Heat remaining butter in the pan and once it starts melting add corn flour
  10. Use a wooden spoon or any regular spoon to mix flour with butter
  11. Turn the heat to low and add milk. Start stirring. If you have a wire whisk you can use it to clear the lumps or else use any regular spoon or ladle to continue stirring
  12. After nearly 3-4 minutes you can see the milk starts to thicken
  13. Add grated cheese, black pepper powder and mushrooms
  14. Mix it well and add cooked pasta
  15. After 3-4 minutes turn off heat, add some more grated cheese, dried herbs and red chilli flakes
  16. Cheesy Mushroom Pasta is ready to be served
