Add the chutney and let it boil for a minute or two
Remove from flame and serve this chutney with Idli, dosai or any southindian breakfast of your choice
Recipe Notes
Other variations you could try :
-
You can add fresh coriander leaves or mint leaves while grinding the chutney
-
You can add 1/4 cup of grated coconut too
-
If you find the chutney to be too sour add a tsp of sugar or jaggery
-
You can follow the same recipe with just onions too
-
You can add a pinch of Tamarind too for that extra zing 😋😋
-
If you dont have coriander leaves or mint leaves you can add a handful of coriander seeds while roasting other ingredients
