  1. Wash Quinoa thoroughly.You can place them in a fine mesh colander
  2. Boil 2 cups of water in kettle and add it to Quinoa
  3. I felt that adding boiled water to Quinoa speeds up the cooking process.If you don’t have kettle then boil water in a vessel first. Once it comes to rolling boil add Quinoa
  4. Turn the flame to medium
  5. Add a tsp of Oil and a tiny pinch of salt. Let it get cooked in boiling water
  6. After approximately 10-12 minutes Quinoa looks like this
  7. You might notice that Quinoa is 3/4 th cooked and can see Quinoa soaking all the water
  8. Remove excess water at this stage
  9. Turn off the stove and cover the vessel for 10 minutes
  10. Then use a fork to fluff the Quinoa up and once it is cooled down completely you can mix it with veggies or serve it as it is along with Daal/Saambar
  11. I served Quinoa with some Daal and Paneer sticks
