Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Soak Green Gram and Idli Rice together in water for about 3 hours
  2. Grind soaked dal mixture, along with Red chillies, ginger, curryleaves and coriander leaves together. Add water at regular intervals
  3. The batter should be very smooth. Add salt and hing to the batter after grinding.
  4. Leave the batter to ferment for about 2-3 hours. You can also start making Dosais immediately. I prefer it to be fermented atleast for sometime so that there is a mild sourness in the batter.
  5. Heat a tsp of Oil in Dosa Tawa. Add some curry leaves, finely chopped onions, a pinch of salt and some finely chopped green chillies
  6. Saute until onions are golden brown. Keep this aside. Now spread the batter in dosai tawa, sprinkle onion and drizzle oil
  7. Wait until one side is cooked and carefully flip the dosai. Let the other side get cooked for a minute too. Then serve the dosai with chutney of your choice 😋😋
