Garlic Podi
This is my MIL’s recipe and a perfect alternative to the usual IdliPodi. This podi goes well with Idli,Dosai or Adai. There is not much cooking involved. All you need is fresh garlic pods. You can store this powder in an air-tight container
Instructions
Grind garlic and gram dal to a fine powder
In our house we generally do not peel the garlic skin off while preparing this podi
However incase if you are not comfortable eating garlic’s skin kindly peel them off and grind
To this fine powder add Chilli Powder, Salt and hing
Give it a mix. Garlic podi is ready
Adjust salt and chilli according to your needs. Serve this podi as an accompaniment to Idli,Dosai
