Baked Pakora Kadhi

Instructions
Preparation of Pakoras
Warm 3 tbsp oil in a tadka pan
In a wide bowl add Onions, chopped veggies,salt,hing and Red Chilli Powder
Add this warm oil and mix everything together
Do not add water
Make small balls of the mixture. If your hands become sticky inbetween apply some oil in your palms and continue shaping them
Arrange them on a baking tray
Preheat oven to 200c and bake for 22 minutes
At around 10-12 minutes turn the sides of the pakoras so that all the sides are evenly cooked
The timings vary depending on the oven. So kindly keep checking to ensure Pakoras are baked well
Baked Pakoras are ready 🙂 These can be served as an evening snack too. Kids will love it.
Preparation of Kadhi
In a wide bowl add Gram Flour, Yogurt, Turmeric Powder, Chilli Powder and Grated Ginger
Add 2.5 cups of water and mix them well. Use a wire whisk and make sure there aren’t any lumps
Turn on ‘Saute’ mode in Instant Pot
Add oil
Add Mustard Seeds, Urad Dal, Fenugreek Seeds,Jeera Seeds and Dried Red Chilli. Here is where you add curry leaves if you have
Once the oil becomes hot they will start to splutter
Add the Gram Flour + Yogurt mixture
Add salt, hing,Garam Masala Powder and Coriander Leaves
Mix everything well
Add 1/2 cup water again and turn on ‘Pressure Cook’ mode
Make sure ‘Keep warm’ is turned off and set the timer to ‘6’
Let it get cooked..Once the timer goes off wait for a minute or two
Release the pressure manually
Kadhi will look like the below picture. Based on your preferred consistency add extra water and adjust salt
Garnish with Coriander Leaves and add pakoras before serving
