Baked Mushroom Pakoda
Very different from the usual fried pakoras. These Mushroom Pakodas can be served as a starter in potluck parties or bday parties. Am sure the guests will love it. With basic ingredients these pakodas taste so good.

Ingredients
  • 300 gms MushroomsI used Button Mushrooms. You can use any variety if you want
  • 1cup besanGram Flour/கடலைமாவு
  • 1/2cup rice flour
  • 2teaspoon Chilli Powder
  • 1teaspoon salt
  • 1teaspoon Hingபெருங்காயம்
  • 3tablespoon Sesamen Oilyou can use any oil of your choice. I used Sesame Oil
Instructions
  1. Wash Mushrooms and clean them using Paper towel
  2. Remove the excess moisture also be careful to not to break them completely
  3. Chop the mushrooms to bite sized pieces and slowly mix flour, salt and chilli powder
  4. Do this very gently by adding oil little by little
  5. Ensure all the mushroom pieces are coated with flour mixture
  6. Preheat oven at 180c for 10 minutes
  7. Arrange the flour coated Mushrooms on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 22-25 minutes..If you want, you can also spray some oil once you transfer them to the baking tray
  8. After nearly 22 minutes I turned on the Grill Mode in the oven. The heat from the top will help in making the mushrooms crispier
  9. In case if you don’t have that mode you can leave it on the over for another few minutes extra
  10. I served these Pakoras with a simple Makhani Pulao (shall add the recipe of the pulao soon) & some plain yogurt
