Paneer Dosa was my first post in this blog and today read that post after so many years. Feeling nostalgic. I don’t update my blog regularly but I keep clicking photos of whatever I cook. Am yet to get a professional camera, I don’t even have a domain. But inspite of all this there are few wellwishers, friends who keep appreciating me for this initiative and keep motivating me to write more. Hoping to write more in the future.
If the store bought paneer is not soft enough you can immerse them in warm water for 5-10 minutes. Drain the water. Rinse it again with cold water. Then you could cut and use the paneer cubes. In my first post I have tossed the paneer in ghee and then shredded them in mixie.
But recently when I prepared paneer dosa, I grated paneer and directly mixed them with spices. Used that filling while making dosai. You can follow either of the steps. The taste will be good.
Here is the photo of Paneer dosai (successfully updated the pic after 5 years. Lol ;))
For Paneer Filling :
Grate Paneer. In a pan add finely chopped onion, tomato, jeera seeds, ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and spice powders like Turmeric, Chilli and Garam masala. Saute them well. Add grated paneer, salt and mix everything together. If you want you can add one or two tablespoon of water to prevent the burji from drying.
Make dosai, stuff it with this filling and serve it with chutney or sambar. Tastes great as a simple dosai wrap too
